Hello guys i want to upgrade my pc and i want to buy an ryzen 5 3600x . i do have one question ,i know that the wraith cooler comes with some sort of thermal paste so it would be better

if i stay with the stock one or just clean off and add some aftermarket one ? i had some troubles my cpu's temperature because i had a bad thermal paste so that's why i'm asking .

For normal use, the stock paste would be sufficient. You always want thermal paste on your cooler, just not too much. A pea sized application (like toothpaste) would do in most cases.

Stock paste is fine for stock operation. IF you want to try for maximum overclocks, get a custom cooler and Kryonaut paste

I use a cross pattern when I apply paste on my Ryzen. I find the pea method to be not enough. It is not a problem if it is too much but if it is too little then there is a problem. The excess paste will be forced out through the sides by the pressure of the HSF being screwed down.

The stock paste will be sufficient if you use the stock cooler which is a bit meh tbh. I found it to be a little too noisy for my liking.
