What mouse should I get?

pipnina

I'm tired of my 800DPI wireless mouse for 2 reasons:

1: at high sensitivities, it has major pixel skipping issues (and I've done the raw input patch for windows along with hving sensitivity at 6/11 in windows)

2:  slightly slow update rate; I have a 144Hz monitor and the mouse is 125Hz.

3: it doesn't fit my hand.

---------------

I've recently tried out my friend's gigabyte m6880 and liked the shape and noticed a good improvement on the frame skipping side of things. I didn't buy it off of him because I can't stand wired mice.

Any recommendations?

Mainly FPS and RTS. (I use a controller for racing so I won't count that)

As far as buttons go. I'd probably be looking for an additional button on the side for activating abilities in planetside 2.

If you want wireless, Logitech G602. Good sensor, great battery life, awesome ergonomics and well priced.

I just ordered the G700s. A bit pricey... But the ergonomics and aesthetics seem to represent my hand.

If i think it's not worth it, as long as the packaging is in good condition it's a national right in England to be able to return products bought online within 7 days and get a full refund.
