Hey so with this virus I am out of school and will be doing online school. I have a chromebook the school gave me but I don't really want to use it. The only thing preventing me from using my chromebook and not my PC is because I don't have a webcam. I haven't ever had a need for a webcam until now I guess. Is there any webcams that are decent for video chatting my different classes? It doesn't need to have a good mic because I have a mic just not a camera. Under 75 would be great.

Just now, NZgamer said:

Why don't you want to use the chromebook. It's a bit silly to go out and spend $75 on a webcam to avoid using a chromebook.

The school has messed up those chromebooks. The mic doesn't work, they are slow as hell even though chromebooks are supposed to be fast. I wasn't looking for a $75 webcam, that is my cap. I could also probably use as webcam in the future. is $75 a lot for a webcam?

AFAIK there are some apps that let you use your phone as a webcam. Try those?

My go to would have been the Logitech C920, but the work from home boom made it go from a 65 USD webcam, to one that costs double that price (if you can find it).

Why don't you just do all the work in your PC / Laptop and then transfer it to the chromebook to be submitted.
