Hard time finding best settings for ASUS VG248QG

I just got my first 144hz monitor, the ASUS VG248QG, and it's silky smooth but I'm just having a lot of trouble finding the right picture. Compared to my 60hz Acer, I don't think I like the Asus picture very much. I've been tweaking with it for quite a while now and I just can't get a very good picture down. I've tweaked with the settings on the monitor itself as well as with the NVIDIA control panel. I was hoping to ask if:

  1. Is it possible to match two different monitors' pictures exactly?
  2. Anyone with experience using the ASUS VG248QG, what settings do you use?
