is one sli rendering mode better then the other?

Hello, i have two GTX 980s in sli and i was wondering if one of these sli rendering mode is best or which one i should use. Thanks in advanced

Compatibility maybe. The NVIDIA Recommended might choose between the two anyway, but I'm not totally sure.

using one card and deciding which of the 2 cards will be the master and the slave.
