Need help, System gives cpu error.

When I try to boot my pc I get a red light for cpu and I have occasionally seen one for vga (video).

I suspect it's because of using a 4+4 power cable instead of a 8pin.

My config is:

CPU: Amd ryzen 7 3700x

Motherboard: Msi mpg x570 gaming plus

GPU: Gigabyte rtx 2060 super gaming oc 3x white 8g

RAM: Corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 2x8gb 3200mhz

PSU: sharkoon silent storm cool zero 650w 80plus gold

SSD: samsung 970 evo M2 and a USB with windows 10

Does anyone see a problem in this config. Sorry for the terrible pic.

Edit: I am now also getting a vga error and the monitor only shows one underscore somewhere in the middle left of the screen.

@jeroendn the power shouldnt be a problem. im doing that i think. is the cpu damaged? is the cooler mounted properly?

Either @piratemonkey or quote me when responding to me. I won't see otherwise

Put a reaction on my post if I helped

@piratemonkey How do I know if the cooler is mounted correctly? In my aspect it's fine. I have de handle to pressure it down on the top side (if it would be in a case)

I didn't saw any bend pins on de cpu and did fit it in correctly.

@jeroendn as long as pressure is even, it shouldnt be an issue. i would try with one stick ram, all slots. the monitor showing only the underscore i think is a bios problem. this was happening with someone i was helping yesterday i think. ill look into that

@piratemonkey One RAM stick doesn't make any difference. The cooler should be even, but will double check. (I'm questioning why a slight pressure difference could be a issue though.)

I'm now gonna get some night rest myself. Thx in advance for helping.

a slight change in pressure doesnt make a difference, except on threadripper. if one side was barely attached and the other was, that may pose a bit of a problem. the cooler should be fine. again ill figure out what is happening with the weird post. dm or tag or qoute me when youre up and ready :)

Ok, I got my pc to boot today and successfully install windows 10. But everytime I boot my pc the red light for CPU turns on for about 2 sec and then the same for VGA. Then a underscore appears on my screen, before showing me a MSI logo. Is this light thing normal, cause it makes booting take longer? I don't want to have anything in my config wrong and break a component, because of this.

Is there anyone who can tell me more about this?
