Play wii games based on usb

Unfortunately my wii cd drive broke, but everything else is working. Can I play games based of a usb stick.(note none of my computers are powerful enough to emulate it)

It's possible, you just gotta softmod your Wii.

I'm not going to go into detail though, as the information is readily available online and legality will vary.
