Hello! I am looking for the cheapest build I can do that can run modern games 30fps or more. My friend who doesn’t have any money at all pc broke so I would like to build them one we generally play games like Resident Evil 6 and Left 4 dead 2 but I would like them to be able to run new titles as well. I don’t necessarily have a budget but since it’s not for me the cheapest it can be the better. I put this list together but feel free to give me any suggestions or a different build for what I need https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dr6grV

the iGPU is gonna run like crap considering it has a slow single stick instead of a faster dual channel kit. spend an extra $8 and get a 3000mhz 2x4GB kit instead. Or get a used workstation and GPU instead of this.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

With an APU, most important thing is to get 2 sticks of RAM. Second most important thing is to get fast RAM. Normally, with a seperate CPU and GPU, they use seperate memory, so bandwidth is not an issue. But now, both the CPU and GPU are using the same memory, so dual channel and fast memory is of utmost importance.

At this price point, used parts are probably a better choice tbh, can probably get a used 1060 and i5-3570k + 16gb DDR3

You could also go the route of used PC parts since that could actually go lower with better performance. I think you can get a used Office pc then just add a Used gpu. . unless you want new.
