Should I buy an SSD first and then a HDD?

When I build my pc soon, should I buy a 128gb SSD first and then wait for a month to buy a hard drive? I also have an external 500gb hard drive I could use as temporary storage before I get the HDD. 

 

Would it be easier to buy the SSD first as I can do a fresh install of the OS on it rather than cloning it from the HDD afterwards?

Since I now have a NAS, I don't bother putting HDD's in any of my machine's anymore.

Its the wd black 2 a 128gb ssd and 1 tb hdd best of both worlds im pretty sure you need drivers though and im pretty sure it only works with windows didn't look too much into it but check it out

You should buy an SSD first get all your programs installed then but a larger HDD. I'm planning on building a PC and I'm going to start with an SSD.

Buy SSD, itll take you a bit to fill it up, then get and HDD.(remember youll have to format it ect)

I would recommend getting an SSD for a boot drive, but not massive storage, I would just install windows, and your most used programs (like antivirus and anything that will really slow your computers boot) and maybe your favorite game. but I would get an internal HDD as soon as I can because you will see that SSD fill up pretty fast.

Get an HDD first.  That way you can fully appreciate the speed of an SSD when you do get it.

Definitely go for SSD first and install all the necessary programs on it. Just don't forget to format your new HDD after you plug it in.
