Just hold the fan from the inside to the top and screw it in from the top (outside) of the case.

Keep in mind fans have a certain direction they blow, so keep that in mind when installing it. Do you want it to get air into the PC or bring air out of it?

The screw holes in the fan or case?
Because keep in mind, you have to 'tap' the fan plastic with the screw. Normally you may be used to screwing into something metal with a 'path' (thread) for the screw already, but with fans you have to kind put pressure on it, because you basically form this path (thread) with the screw you're screwing into it.

The fan. Also it does not seem to be any screw patterns in neither the fan or case

You create the screw pattern by actually screwing in something into it.

It's kinda of a weird design idea, but that is how it works with fans.

I have no idea what you're doing...

This is how you install the fan:

image.png.92794aa470ff9c02bb5f5c6fb511397e.png

Hold the fan to the top of the case on the inside, screw in the fan from the top (outside) of the case.

Go from corner to opposite corner for equal force on all sides.

Keep in mind the fan blows air a certain way, usually marked by a little arrow on one of the sides.

On 'normal cases' it usually is, but I don't immediatly see anything that makes it removable on this case.

Someone in the past suggested some plastic pins could maybe be pushed some place, but doesn't seem like that is the case:

You don't need to remove top. Just look at how the other fans in the case are mounted.

v4-460px-Install-a-Desktop-Computer-Fan-

Only problem might be that case screw holes are too tight for normal fan screws.

The order is from outside screw - > csse - > fan.

So your issue is what? They mount exactly same way.

Ok, sorry. Took me a while to understand what the issue really was.

So I don't have any references to verify this. But if there's no visible screws, it most likely will slide towards front or back to unlock. This is based on how top is removed from some Sharkoon and other such cases.

You need a good tool to get those screws in like a screwdriver similar size to linus handy snap-on one.  That would be perfect for fan screws.

Just pull the top cover and you’ll have access to this screw holes. Usually they require some force in order to pull them out. I don’t think this panel is screwed in.

Agreed. By looking at pics it just some clips holding it into place.

The red one is what looks like a clip. Blue ones look like spots to align top when you are placing it back.

With everything available, thats all I got. Next step I would suggest is to contact Asus support and ask them directly.
