Thunderbolt software auto starts on boot

Spir4

Hi,

I've got an ASRock X570 motherboard with built-in Thunderbolt. After installing the drivers, the Thunderbolt Software always automatically starts up on boot, which I don't want. The problem is that it doesn't show up in the Task Manager on the Start-up tab, nor in the Windows Start-up folder. There is also no option in the Thunderbolt Software to disable the auto-startup.

Is there a way to disable it from doing that? Or is that not advised to do?

Thanks!

You could use 3rd party software like CCleaner.

Oh sorry for posting in the wrong part of the forum.

So there's no official way to get rid of it then? I mean something built in in Windows that I could use?

Thanks!

Use Autoruns. Easy to find and download. It's free.

Startup tab is not the only place. Some of programs use services, some use Task Scheduler. Autoruns show them all.

Nope. You can uninstall the driver, but thats about it. Using 3rd party software is quicker and more efficient as they will look for all those advanced user menus. Either CCleaner or what @homeap5 suggested.
