Make any laptop a Mothership?

I have seen videos of homemade laptop cases, even pizza box laptops. I would like to 3D print, or CNC, a custom laptop lid that makes my laptop a Mothership. There are no longer any 2-in-1s for gamers and no one can afford an Asus Mothership. Ideally I’d like to ditch the keyboard deck, leave as much stock as possible, and mount the screen outward, then slap a kick stand on the back. I’d rather plug in peripherals than use the stock keyboard anyways. Anyone have any ideas or leads on a similar project? Thanks.
