Which one should I go for? 3500 is Asia exclusive. Also known as 3500x outside Asia.

I use my pc for gaming and office works like typing long ass essays and project works. Sometimes Occasionally I do some editing in Photoshop. I play muliplayer games like apex legends, pubg, battlefield and single player Nfs titles ans assassins creed titles.

 

My current system is:

2400g + ax370 gaming + gtx 1070 + ripjaws V 3000 16gb + samsung 860 and 1tb wd blue

 

Now coming to the pricing. 3500 is $140 and 3600 is $199. Is it worth to pay the extra $59 for hyper threading?

SMT should last you some extra time, I'd pay extra for it

Hopping over to YouTube, searching up a video, and watching for a couple minutes has lead me to the conclusion that you might as well save the money and get the 3500 when it comes to gaming. Essays and office don't require any more than 6 cores, and I have no idea what "project works" are.

I would say that yes, it's worth it to get the R5 3600 with SMT. 

Can you, though? I imagine since he's quoting a CPU not available in the US, that's not where he is, so the prices the US provides aren't relevant.
