I am looking at a headset (Corsair HS50 Pro) and I cannot find out if this motherboard will support this head set as it has a headphone jack connection so I would like to know if this motherboard has a combined audio + input port or would I need to get a splitter

You need to get a splitter cable for your headset to your motherboard. Some cases do have a combined headphone+microphone jack though.

Keep in mind not any splitter would work, you need specifically a 4 pin splitter. Female to dual male. Like this:

Something that specifically supports headphone+mic jack to a single female jack.
