I need help trying to fix airflow on my front panel any ideas or suggestions?

You could cut out poly sections of the panels and add mesh similar to the original.

what should i use to make the holes?

You would need to replace the cut out portion with a mesh, what corsair uses is a small perforated mesh you can get something similar in a plastic material such as this. As for cutting the panel itself you can use a Dremel or rotary tool, it will require you to do some clean up of the cut afterwards and to straighten the edges.
