PC case fans.

Ozzy12

You can put any standard fans in there. If you want premium fans - be quiet! and Noctua are obvious option. If you want something more flashy with RGB - Corsair

For me the best fans are the Corsair ML PRO.

A bit expensive but absolutely worth it.

There is a 120mm one and 140mm.

Which one?

Hi, I have a question, I want to buy some fans for my case (I have only one fan, who came up with the case)

and without fans my games run from 60-70 degrees, I want to know how much this will reduce my case temp.

Will the temperature drop by at least 10 degrees?

Thanks for suggestions!

Simply just adding fans may not help cooling performance at all. It can greatly depend on the design of the case. It would really help to know what kind of case you have and what sort of budget you have for fans and how many you want to add.

This post doesn't make any sense. What do you mean your games run 60-70 Degrees? My 2080 Super, and my 3800x both run over 60C while gaming, and that's with 8 fans (2 on AIO, 6 on case). We need your specs, and your case to say anything. But in reality for most gear 60-70C under load is perfectly normal.

What cooler do you have now?

What are your ambient temperatures?

How are you measuring temperatures of the CPU?

iirc that case has pretty much a solid acrylic front with small vents on the top and bottom so unfortunately your case flow will always be subpar to a more air flow oriented design. That being said with the restriction on the front panel I would go with some static pressure fans even if they aren't going on a heatsink or rad. Something like a Noctua NF-P12 would work. Can't guarantee it will drop case temps by a lot but it would certainly help. Also if you use any sort of fan control I would get higher rpm fans and just control them manually or have a custom fan curve.

I have the stock cooler on my CPU.

The ambient temperatures are 60-65.

I measure the temperatures with a program called Core Temp.

Why are people so afraid of temperature. My whole system is silence biased and thus regularly hits 70-80°C on CPU as well as GPU. And I'm running AiO and graphic card has a very beefy cooler. CPU (5820K) is like 5 years old and overclocked to the max and graphic card (GTX 1080Ti) will be 3 years old sometime in spring 2020. Unless CPU or GPU is constantly hitting 100°C, you're not really going to lose any lifetime from it. I can easily say getting double this is no special feat. Things just don't break unless they are actually overheating, which it isn't for anything below 90°C.

I'm not afraid of high temperatures.

My PC is getting very loud when it hits 70+ degrees.

And I want to know if buying fans will decrease my temp

or if it will keep my PC silent at 70 degrees...

The processor and the video card can handle higher temperatures. For example a video card will probably work perfectly fine up to 90 degrees celsius and the cpu can do 85-90c

You probably have in bios everything configured to automatically adjust the fan speed depending on cpu temperature, trying to keep it below 70 degrees celsius. Because there's little airflow in your case, your fan probably starts spinning faster in order to keep the cpu in that 60-70 degrees range and that's why it's noisy.

Case fans can help, but those case fans only help if air can move through the case.... what I'm saying is you can't put a fan at the neck of a bottle and expect air to come out, air has to come inside the bottle from somewhere else, you need air to circulate.

So for example, you would want some holes on the bottom of the case, or in front of the case you want some channel through which air can come in... and you want a fan or two on the back of the case or on top of the case to pull air outside the case, and this way you're circulating air.

If there's small holes for the air, you want static pressure optimized fans ... if you have big holes (like back of the case) you want "case fans" which are optimized to push lots of air but if there's obstructions their efficiency drops.

Thanks for suggestion!

I'm not playing with high temps, because after playing games like 45+ mins with 65-70 degrees, my monitor loses signal.(goes black screen).

I tried replacing the hdmi cable and it didn't work.

And I tried another monitor and it didn't work too.

I just turn off my PC to get the signal back.

The GPU has only 1 hdmi port and the monitor has 2, but I don't think the problem is from my monitor

because this happened on my older acer monitor.

Tbh the front panel on your case is awful for airflow. Adding static pressure fans will help.

But if your getting restarts while gaming you could just take the front panel off while gaming.

Have you identified which component is too noisy when the system is under load?

Where are you shopping / located?
