GPU temps

you guys have always been a great help, i would like to know your thoughts on my gpu  a rtx 2070 black which runs down at 35 degrees most of the time but as soon as i run my sim it is up at 70-72 degrees , i have adjusted the fans to run at 100% at 70 degs and also at higher rpm than normal below 70 degs but it does make a din, any ideas how to make it run cooler? or do they naturally run this hot ?  according to heaven benchmark it is running at 2235 mhz and i have overclocked the memory by 1000mhz 

FYI i have a phanteks case with 4x1200 mm fans blowing inwards and 1 at the rear blowing outwards 

any thought would be appreciated

Have You tried undervolting?  Exact type of case and case fans?  Ambient temperatures?

72c is a very good temp at full load.

70 degrees is very good lol , u dont need to worry

What’s your ambient temp? I’m trying to sort out my 2080S. At 2115Mhz and 9251 memory I’m running at 60C under load. And I don’t know why mine runs so much colder than everyone else.

 

EDIT: also is it just me, or is that a really good core OC?

72C is actually great for 2235MHz at full load, and is a good temperature for full load in general, you really haven't got anything to worry about.

I wouldn't worry about temps till you hit 80c. At 70 to 72 you are looking good.

thank you all for all your thoughts the ambient temperature is around 23 degs but if my temps appear correct i wont panic, just need to buy some ear plugs

You can easily drop fan speed with this kind of temps
