I have a 2600x and a nvidia 2070 and the pc is so slow. I've checked drivers and everything's fine. It has caused me to being living off laptop

By running slow what exactly you mean? Games are running not as expected? Not enough fps? Long loading for software etc? Please specify

Did you just recently upgrade your CPU/RAM/Motherboard and not reinstalled Windows?

Assuming you have got your OS installed on your SSD, have you got at least 10-15% of free space on it?

Like others above have mentioned, you'll need to be more specific about your issue.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Hi sorry I took long to respond. I have not reinstalled windows. I didnt know that would effect anything if I updated drivers. And yes all is new. Basically took ssd from old computer and placed in this one. I have no anti virus as this thing doesnt go on internet it's only for gaming. I have a laptop for any hacking or unprotected downloads. As far as slow. Boot is like 30 to 40 seconds. Most games wont run at 60fps at 4k or 1080 but run about the same on either setting. I mean minecraft can even get frame skips. I have a 500m.2 and a 1tb m.2 operating system is on 500gb as 1tb is brand new. Also have a hdd for junk. I'm not at home right now to do any speed tests but will when I am able was just looking for rough idea as I'm very new and dumb to pc. I've built 3 but still couldn't tell you the names of connectors or anything. Thanks for the help!

Windows 10 has a Reset feature.

I'd use it to reinstall fresh and just do the hard work once....

Picking thru the old install trying to clean up the mess.. isn't worth it..

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
