(Just found myself a part time job, just so I could get the money for this build, can't wait! , the "job" is my dad's store xD)

Still researching for my future pc, will be used for gaming (all of the games  :P), live streaming on twitch, uploading youtube videos and minor editing (Sony Vegas)

Budget= 900$+- (US)

Will also need (Included in the price of 900ish)

  • Monitor (Would love a 1080p display, with low response time and over 23")
  • Headphones (Already have a blue snowball mic, so only need a headphone with no mic)
  • Mouse Pad (Prefer a good black mouse pad to blend in my black colored pc build theme)
  • Keyboard (I like the Razer DeathStalker Wired Gaming Keyboard, what do you guys think about it?)

This is what I came up with, what do you guys think I should improve?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2RZcp

Thanks

There isint any real point is deciding anything until you have the money to spend. As new parts are always coming out and things get cheaper/more expensive on an almost daily basis.

I want to know how much I need to work for and what I am working for, so I would love asking now and make minor edits in a week or 2 when I do get this system, thx tho

If You spent a little bit more money on the monitor you could get a AOC I2369V or AOC I2367fh and i have the 22" version of the monitor on the build as a second monitor and it has the worst viewing angles I have ever seen

Christian and Proud of it

Why not, is it bad? Anything better for the money in your opinion? (Backlit would be nice)

No it is not bad by any means but I think you would be much happier finding an old HP/Dell rubber dome keyboard to hold you off untill you can afford a mechanical keyboard :)

For the mouse and keyboard, I would just get the cheapest you can find for now, and then save up for a nice laser gaming mouse and mechanical keyboard to buy later. Peripherals like that will be easy to replace, I'd try and use your budget to get the best set of hardware you can.

I like your enthusiasm, but Altecice is right. There is no point going on about computer before you got the money or close by(max 1 month maybe).

Welcome to LinusTechTips forum :DD , Thx for your comment, I will have the money 1-2 weeks from now. :)

if I were you I would spend alot more on the pc itself rather than its peripherals!

I'm using an old keyboard my mom used to have, and a 10 euro logitech mouse (that is fuken strong :P)

why are you buying thermalpaste when you aren't buying a cpu cooler? the paste comes pre-applied on the fx stock coolers.

also you went with a micro atx mobo in an atx case, this should work but seems a weird choise imo...

I would also never go with any headset from razor! all they do is bass bass bass, get an audiophile headset maybe as you already have a mic :)

I updated your partpicker list a little.. :)

the mobo that it has in it should support the fx 6300 but pcpartpciker says it won't even though I have a similar mobo with an fx 4100 :/

put in dual channel memory which is faster !

i removed the keyboard and headset didn't add a new keyboard you can do that :)

and added the shure srh 440 as headset (it is epic)

ok my response is late but that's because i put alot of time into it :P

wish you luck!

Well they are very comfortable to type on and you can choose from many switches for example I have Cherry MX Red Switches which are preferred by tons of games and people who have cherry MX Blues tend to do alot of typing. Really depends on your preference but in all they are more sturdy and the probability of hitting 2 keys at once is less which might give you a slight advantage in games.

Good to know! Thanks for explaining, but what about standard keyboards, like the razer I chose... what color do they have built in?

Sadly, that is really above my budget but it can actually help me by taking a couple of parts you chose and just changing to what I have chosen, thanks!

Razer mechanical keyboards are very expensive most of the time and it's a better value to go with gigabyte. Also on the headphones you are better off making a topic in audio and say what kind of sound profile you like ( Bassy , natural , etc.)

Do you think that the standard cpu cooler that comes with my cpu is good enough (for no over clocking)? or do I need to get a cpu cooler?

I understand , however you spend 10% more momey and in return you will get about 30% more performance . And with an added SSD you will really fly thru windows. You can always buy the parts in parts ( no pun intended.)

It's loud , i would go with at least a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO.

Well the razer deathstalker uses rubber dome which arent Cherry MX Switches. They have a lighter press and tend to feel a little hollow (IMO at least). HP/Dell stock keyboards also use rubber dome thats why Id recommend to just use one of those untill you can afford a mechanical keyboard. The deathstalker is a nice keyboard if you have tried Cherry MX switches and prefer rubber dome, though most hardcore gamers nowadays use mechanical keyboards. I have tried the deathstalker and if you actually do prefer rubber dome, then id say get it. Maybe you can test mechanical keyboards to see whether you like them better or not at say a Local best buy/frys if you live in the US. :D
