Should I get x570 or B450?

I'm planning a build with R5 3600X and AMD 5700 XT. Maybe I'll upgrade the processor to R7 later. So, for this system should I get the x570 for future plans? Will it help with the performance more than the B450? Is there any specific feature (except for PCIe4) that may help me later at some point when I'll be upgrading? Or getting a high end B450 will be enough?

Or any other suggestion?

Pretty much PCI-E 4.0. If your're primarily gonna use it for gaming then B450 will be fine.

get a high end b450 tho, the msi tomahawk max, a-pro max or gaming plus max.

you'll only miss pci-e 4.0 and multiple m.2 ports.

Future proof, is not worth it. Just buy what you need now.!  The system will be good for a couple of years , by then something new will be the rage.

I would suggest the ASUS ROG Strix X470-F. I don't like it for $180. They used to put it in sale bundled with basically a close to free Gen2 Ryzen CPU. I am somewhat disappointed that AMD is not as aggressive with their pricing of older motherboards.

If you don't need multiple M.2 slots, pcie 4.0 or overclocking a b450 is good enough.
