Is 83 Degrees bad for my GPI

Hannerz

I'm currently playing RDR2 at close to ultra at 1440p but I just noticed that my gpu is at 83 degrees. Is that OK or should I crank up my fans, making them obnoxiously loud but cool. Thanks tom

I prefer the stay in the 70's C while I'm gaming, but that's me because 83C under load it still an ok temp. So I would crank up the fans a little bit.

For most GPU's it will be just fine, but I don't want to make a blanket statement without knowing the GPU.

What GPU are we talking about?

Its not ideal, but thats in regards to clock speeds. At that temp u wont be boosting as high as if u were at a lower temp, however the temp itself is perfectly safe.

Those are totally normal temperatures. You could decrease temps by increasing the fan speed (and thus noise), but that is not needed at all.
