[Newegg] LG 29EA73-P [$379.99] (ends 2/17)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005534&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL021114&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL021114-_-EMC-021114-Index-_-LCDMonitors-_-24005534-L04D

It's a wide aspect ratio IPS panel 2560x1080 on sale for Newegg's 48 hour Powersale which for some reason continues for longer than 48 hours.

There are two promo codes: PRSDNTDAY48 and EMCPHWW74 which do the same thing and sadly do not stack up.

I paid over 740$ for my PB278Q 1440p monitor... I don't think the Americans know the definition of overpriced.

Paid $650 for mine here in the USA.

I had this LG29EA73-P before I returned it for the PB278Q. Nice monitor but the screen feels too short. The widescreen effect does add a nice but of immersion for RPGs though.

The quality feel of the monitor could be better for the price. Too much plastic :P

No shit. That's why i said 'The Americans'.

That makes no sense, unless you're referring to the OP bc Lithuania is in Europe.

I was referring to America (USA) in general, since Newegg is in the US. I often see people complaining about the prices of hardware and calling them overpriced, but the fact is, that they pay a fraction of the price i do.

I wonder what version this one is.
The early ones were apparently quite poor while the revision model (same name) was much, much better.
