The D90 to me is the best option, by far. Pair it with whatever good amp you have and there you have it.

Good to see AKM DAC chips instead of ESS SABRE's, the AK4499EQ is an amazing little chip.

Data sheet for the AK4499EQ, if anyone is wondering:

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

always been a big fiio fan and have been doing some good shiut in the portable market recently ahrd for me to justify the price. I really do wish they went with a better cpu at least one that came out this year with a nice ammount of ram to ensure longevity and it run smooth with no hiccups. I wish audiophioles cared more about that kinda shit.

Is there a reason for a music player such as the R8 to have 4G?
