So apparently Java is good for 3D

So okay, give me links to tutorials and I'll see for myself what I can do.

I've made a pretty complete 2D game with someone so I just need stuff for the 3D.

It's because some people were arguing that Java was good for 3D so I'm trying it to confirm/refute that it's not good for 3D.

Yeah, I posted on that topic too. 

 

Comparing Java and C/C++ applications, there's not that much difference in performance. Same goes for 2D games. For 3D games, Java falls apart, largely due to lack of libraries/APIs/game engines made for Java. It wasn't developed as much as C/C++ (both of which have countless game engines and 3D libraries). 

 

Minecraft and RuneScape are the only two remotely successful (and large-scale 3D) games made with Java. There may be a few other lesser known games too.
