Best light laptops with thin bezels ≤$500?

c0mplexx*

The laptop will basically only be used for web browsing and media consumption (Netflix, Youtube), probably some skyping as well. Maybe i'm aiming too high in a low budget but i'm looking towards 8GB RAM + ~256GB SSD and a good screen with decent to good battery life. 15' or under

I'm thinking of maybe going Acer Aspire 5 (i5-8265u) but i'm looking for maybe an even thinner with thinner bezels laptops (or at least thinner bezels, kinda like the newer Asus Vivobooks and Zenbooks) and to my understanding it's screen isn't that bright

Out of all situations, this is probably the one where the Chromebooks come in handy

are chromebooks actually a good idea tho? iirc they're pretty limited and it's still better to go windows no?

Yeah I'd say high/good sRGB is needed since lots of vids are gonna be watched on it, might sacrifice something for it but not too much

I'd say 6 hours?

https://ksp.co.il/?select=268..271

First site is a price comparison site so it has quite a few stores (and more models), Third site is the only one that has English

$700 laptops would be around 3300ILS ( considering import taxes+shipping) I think so I'd say somewhere around $750 (~3500ILS) is my max, it gets a bit too expensive for me over that
