This is taken from my saved part list, only changed CPU. Prices are converted to USD

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d4sCwh

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($127.20)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool GAMMAXX GTE 56.5 CFM CPU Cooler  ($23.99)
Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($79.95)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury RGB 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  ($45.79)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury RGB 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  ($45.79)
Storage: Kingston A2000 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($62.75)

If you want to save some cost:

1. Remove CPU cooler, or take a Tier 7 cooler from here

2. Remove additional case fans

3. Take any mobo from Tier E from here (eg Asrock B450M Pro 4)

4. Take any PSU from Tier B from here (eg Super Flower Silver Eco)

I'm looking to get a pc and i saw this pre build on Lazada(Alibaba but for south east asia) that goes for $642 with shipping. Can anyone tell me if this is good value? i'll leave a link

I definitely am going to upgrade the storage and maybe the RAM. The only real problem is that the mobo doesn't support 3rd Gen Ryzen chips making upgradeability a bit costly

the only annoyance as far as those go is the os although i found a cheap windows 10 key so that should be good

PC: Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB 3200mhz RAM (8GBx2), Gigabyte B550M DS3H, GTX 1050 2GB, 650W Semi-Modular PSU80+ Gold

Phone: Poco F3 8GB + 256GB

Audio: Samson SR850s

Sound Card: SoundBlaster Play 4 USB sound card

IEM: planning to get the KBEAR KS2s
Please be patient with me, I'm fatally dumb and its honestly a miracle I've made it this far

Somewhat.

You could build a better system for cheaper (especially if it comes with a 2600), and I'd be wary of the cheap power supply and TRIAL version of windows, since those could explode/expire respectively. 8GB of RAM is also somewhat of a letdown in my opinion.

It's not a rip-off, especially if it has a 3600, but not great value either.

Yeah but in malaysia we don't exactly have something like pcpartpicker here. i'll try and see if i can't build my own for cheaper or better

If you're outside the US, it's a different equation because parts are priced differently. Sorry, I didn't notice you were from Malaysia.

In that case, I think it's actually very good value since parts tend to be priced higher outside the United States.

I'd go for it, just note that there's very little storage space there so I'd also buy a hard drive. The 3600 is about 10ish% better in games than the 2600, so choose accordingly.

so I ve just been using pcpartpicker for wattage calculations and apprently for a system with a ryzen 5 3600 an rtx 2070 16gb of RAM totals up to just 334watts including a 144hz 1080p IPS monitor is this accurate i feel as if this build would need a t least 500watts of power

I already cam up with a budget build using the Athlon 3000G (can't decide on a GPU) that totals to RM830. The problem is I'm looking for a PC that has solid 1080p performance. I guess it comes down to sticker shock mostly. My brain is just arguing with myself that I have pc games that I already bought that are just begging to be played Vs its a lot of money and I'm just 17 without a proper job

I would appreciate it if you could come up with a part list for me as I get really pissed off looking at the difference in prices between components.

My only requirements are

It's able to play rainbow six siege/ GTA V decently. Thanks in advance

Refer to the part list above, if you have any questions feel free to ask

Note: Not all products are available from the same shop, therefore alternatives need to be considered

i found a combo for the 2600 and an Asrock B450M steel Legend mobo (and yes i checked it is cheaper to get the combo then to buy them individually.) so which mobo would you recommend?

MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX vs Asrock B450M steel legend?

This, if comparing VRM performance. Though Steel Legend isn't 'bad' (same VRM with Pro4)
