What are best Tools for File recovery?

cHaTrAp

First and foremost: If this is valuable data you should definitely consider getting a professional company to get this data back. Any attempts you make can hurt the chances of them getting the data back.

The following suggestion is more of a suggestion to research your options and if you yourself decide it's worth it, can use the program mentioned.

A program I have personally had good experiences with and have heard from others too is Recuva. This scans a disk for files that have been removed and can attempt to get them back.

Depending on the size of the drive and the activity on it, it may take a bit to get all the data from it. From there you can see all the files and decide what to recover.

speccy is a program that can show the specifications (specs) of your PC.

Recuva is part of Piriform, who also makes speccy and CCleaner
