it would if you have a slot for it on your board. Its still considered a high end feature and on limited boards. What motherboard do you have?

only if your motherboard supports it. and it might use a pcie slot like mine does, so I don't use it

That board doesn't have the connector you need. You do have 2 USB 3 headers, so you could get an adapter and use it with lesser speeds than the 3.2 x2 spec calls for.
