low fps and cpu usage in games

Hello, I am knew here and also knew to the pcmasterace.

Recently I got a knew pc, but I am experiencing some issues, in the outer worlds, my fps in edge water is very low and also the gpu usage. I also noticed in other games my performance is not as good as other withe similar specs, in destiny for example I have a performance around 100 fps most of the time but other have some around 120 and never drop below 100 fps but my does.
Could be the single channel ram, or I have a bad cpu?
Appreciate the help!

Ryzen 7 3700x

msi RTX 2070 super

motherboard aorus b750 m

8gb corsair vengence ddr4 3000mhz (1x8)

Its definitely your single channel RAM that causing low FPS. Dual channel RAM is a must have thing when going with Ryzen CPU.

Put 2 16 GB in there or so, that will fix the problem, i would recommend buying the RAM now prices will go up next year.

Your system looks sound I would start off with a matching 8gb stick of memory so you can get dual channel and go from there.
