Will the Z390A PRO Work perfectly with the i9 9700k?

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

Will it work? Yes.

Will it work perfectly? No.

This board is meant for lower end CPU's, up to i5 CPU's (not oveclocking). So in my mind that is not a level of board for an i7 9700K (just to address your title.. i7 9700K, right? As you have 'i9 9700K' in the title).

I would rather suggest a Z390 Aorus Elite (if you truly want to go Intel and not 3700X.. *cough*)

Hello there, I've been planning to upgrade to some new components. The components I want to get are the MSI Z390A PRO work perfectly fine alongside with an i7 9700k, 16-32 GB RAM 2666 MHZ and an RTX 2070-80?

Thank ya for readin' mate. Have a great day!

Should be fine. 9700k is on the supported CPU list.

why no dark mode?
