Reinstall the drivers. You can install the Nvidia drivers and tell it to fully reinstall.

Else you can use DDU to fully uninstall.

Hi ive recently upgraded my GPU from a 1050 Ti to a 1660 Ti but when i checked the available VRAM of the 1660 Ti it saying there's only 2 Gb available, So i was wondering what might be the issue.

Im currently running a:

CPU: Core i5 7400  (3Ghz)

Ram:16 Gb DDR4 1233Mhz

GPU:1660 Ti

Storage: 1 TB

PSU: 350 Watt

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Get rid of that trash known as Speccy.

Check the GPU specs with GPU-Z.

I think that you got like 1050 what has been flashed to 1660ti. So the system thinks that it is 1660 ti

What exact model of pus you have. Well while 350w would be just and just enough i do not think that you have a great psu.

If your ram is ddr4 it cant be running under 2133mhz

Unless the software he uses shows half of RAM speed, which is the case with Speccy

It's probably the program just not reading it correctly.

Use a more proper GPU checking program like GPU-Z or a full system checker like HWInfo64

so basically uninstall all the drivers and reinstall them

Yeah, just make sure to uninstall them with DDU, as manual uninstall can leave behind corrupted registry files and stuff.

P.S. How did you check VRAM usage in game? Using MSI Afterburner?

im going to go out on a limb and say the limitation is due to you being CPU bottlenecked. an i5 7400 likely is the cause. I bet if you check usage, its always pegged at 100% so the GPU isnt being used/stressed properly to leverage the VRAM.
