hi I recently got my hands on a 6900xt aio and while I have no issues with it currently I was wondering if the aio is like other water cooling and needs some kind maintenance?

 

or if the aio dies in someway is there a way to fix it or is the whole card just Kapoot? 

 

 

it is specifically the 6900 xt sapphire toxic if that is important info!

AIOs generally don't require maintenance within a reasonable time period(say 6 or so years), and aren't necessarily designed to be opened to refill, although you technically can if you're careful and are patient during the refill process.

 

I'm not sure how long you keep items for, but by the time the pump fails, you'll probably be using something else. It could impact resale value but as for your concerns about pump failure, I think it's unlikely. You'll probably need a refill before the pump fails.
