Anyone try this OLOy brand RAM?

Considering buying this kit for my kid's new PC build I'm slowly assembling......mainly I want it to be pretty, so it will be focused on RGB.

Cheap RGB 3200 kit claims to be compatible with pretty much all RGB software. What do you all think?  Likely will be a Ryzen 2400G or something similar.

https://www.newegg.com/oloy-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820821162

  • DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
  • Timing 16-18-18-36
  • CAS Latency 16
  • Voltage 1.35V

Looks like SK Hynix based on speed and timings. I have an LED Corsair Vengance kit with the same stats in my 1600 system and it runs fine.

If you read the brand OLOy backward, it says YOLO.

wonder if this kit is better? or probably the exact same chips

this brand seems more familiar to me. I think the OLOy looks prettier, though.

If it is exactly same chips than I don't see nothing wrong going with it. I just don't have any knowledge about oloy and geil brands.

Daughter wants a pink computer.....having a hard time finding specifically a pink case. But I can make a white one with pink colored-light guts ?

Yeah, I know. Thanks for the information, I actually bought a kit of that for my friend who is building a Ryzen 3000 system.

This is specifically for looks, though.
