SSD gets 100% usage windows 10 freeze but mouse still moves

So my  samsung ssd 840 evo 120GB suddenly reach 100% usage then my windows suddenly freezes but i can still move my mouse the freeze usually takes 4-6 minutes until it goes down.

is my ssd failing ?
what's the cause and solution ? ineed help thank you

this is a very common windows bug i had it myself,

my solution was to swap the drive itself and reinstall windows.

but i know there are better options than that.

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

right now i can't afford to get another ssd and reinstalling windows on it i will have to look for someone who can do it. since  idon't have the installer

was your ram maxed out? it could be that the memory is using the ssd

Best bet is to backup your drive, secure erase it and restore. Maybe it will solve your problem.

updated from 1903 to 1909 windows 10  haven't experience it again hopefully this is the fix

Updating my windows doesn't fix it
i have a screenshot on what happened. after taking this screensnip my whole desktop starts " not responding" 

I need help thank you

Have you ever updated the drives firmware?  I seem to recall those drives were faulty and needed an update that actually fixed it.

currently running at latest firmware that's what my samsung magician software said

did that after windows update hopefully it will fix the bug if it's on windows 10 fault but didn't then i proceed to that  erase and store i still experienced it after thati tried moving the sata port from sata 02 to  sata 0  while my hdd stays on sata 01 until now i haven't encountered it yet but will still monitor

I didn't think it's possible to update an OS drives firmware while it's active tbh (doesn't work for other brands at least)

i did switch where it was connected before ( sata 02 ) now ( sata 0 ) until now there's no freezing and 100% ssd usage. though i will still monitor if it actually worked.
