For a semi new build

- 3300g( if you live near a microcenter try to grab a ryzen 1600 for 80$)

- Cheap b350m board

- Decent 500 watt PSU

- 8GB ram( try to get used 16GB)

- cheap or Used case

- For a GPU i suggest a Radeon 290

- Used monitor

-  g203

This. This so much.

Gaming on such a low-end PC is so not worth it unless you have a very particular title you're willing to make sacrifices for. Personally, if I only had $450, I would just buy a Nintendo Switch and a couple games. You could also just wait until you find a prebuilt for extraordinarily cheap.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Exactly. Or, with Xbox Game Pass, you could have a full library of games for years while you save for a better system.

you dont get a case, so everything will run on the mobobox.

you get a VA panel that isnt great, but at least its more than 21"

edit: you need to use DVI cable to run the monitor. which you need to provide yourself.

would also suggest picking up a used GPU to try getting a case in. r9 290 and rx 570 go for cheap these days.
