downgrade the CPU to a 2600 and get a really good GPU with the price difference. Watch this Jays2cents video. I got the 2600 and a 5700XT. GPU is running at 100% and CPU is running at less than 50% on these games: RDR2 - low graphics, fallout 4 - ultra/high, Doom - ultra/high. 2600 is super cheap right now and I see no reason to get anything more powerful when pairing with a mid-tier GPU.

I'm doing this build (first build) and I need to know how will this pc will perform before I buy the parts, if anyone can help me I will very kindly appreciate it :)

 

the specs are 

  • 1TB HDD + 256gb SSD

depends on what you do with it... but I feel like this is a prebuilt system, not a custom machine

what will you do with it? because in my opinion, you can go down to a 3600 and just get a better GPU

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

 

CURRENT PC SPECS    

CPU             : Ryzen 5 3600 (Formerly Ryzen 3 1200)

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

GPU COOOER      : ID Cooling Frostflow 120 VGA (Stock cooler overheats even when undervolted :()

MOBO            : MSI B350m Bazooka

MEMORY          : Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)

Get 16 GB's of RAM @ 3600MHz (ideal) or 3200MHz (minimum). If you're on a tight budget go for the 3600 as @Martin2132 recommended. Get a 1660 or a 1660 super if you can (1650ti minimum).
