Was checking out Craigslist for good deals & broken stuff to fix like normal and came across an add for a 3820, 2 128GB Corsair GTs, 16gb ram, GTX 690 for $500...

Messaged the guy and said I'll take it, he lived near, so I went to check it out. Huge system (bigger than 900D) that wasn't working (boot problems)

 

Gave him $600 and walked out. He said his wife just left him, this was her computer that she left behind. Told him it was worth more than that and he was cool with letting it go cheap.

It also came with a Bigfoot Killer nic card, HX850 psu and a 2tb drive.

 

I feel bad for buying it so cheap, but hey, it was worth it.

Holy fuck you lucky duck.

I can be a cynical a**hole at times. I apologize if I cause any offence at those time. I also occasionally have issues communicating my point. Extreme introversion + Photographic memory + Some other things.

Oh damn that's a good deal is the guy crazy to let it go for that I am going to laugh if the wife comes back knowing she forgot her PC and he sold it 

He said it was months ago and no contact so he took the cash to spend on his daughter. Win/Win if I say so.

Asus p9x79 WS board

I want to die... You are so luck for that system. A 690, a p9x79ws,and the 3820 is worth easily $1500.

meanwhile I'm stuck looking at blown subwoofers, CAT5 cables, OEM keyboards, and piece of shit dell laptops and HP desktops on my CL

I check it daily for deals. Picked up 2 7950s, HX850, 8GB ram, AM3+ mobo for $200 last month. 

Picked up a HX1000, not working for $10 - Was able to RMA it and got back a brend new HX1050. 

Some good stuff out there in Seattle

surprising, I'd figure at least something decent would show up living in an area with so many suburbs and a 60k+ college, but nope.

I'm looking at mine and someone selling BF4 for 40 bucks and says "I can't stand this game i like call of duty better"
