New 240fps video was a joke

What's the point of using a game where fast motion isn't that commonplace to test whether or not 240fps makes a noticeable difference or not?  If Linus wanted to really determine whether or not it does he should have used a much faster game with a lot more constant motion such as Quake.  Get a hold of Rapha, Paradoks, Cooller, Garpy, K1llsen, and have them put the setups through the paces.  Higher FPS is really only more noticeable and more advantageous in faster paced twich shooters like Quake and if you want an easier game UT.  Not grandma camp with hitscan weapons noobfests like CS.

But it's a poor game to do a test like this.  If you want to really show how much of a difference it makes use a game and players that gain a much higher advantage from upgrading to 240.  Not only that but Quake requires much faster reaction time than CS does.

Overwatch would be a good one to test. If you need to fight off a genji or tracer I have found 240hz is really helpful.

Still not as fast but a far better modern example than fucking CS.

Maybe not as fast but it is a popular game and will appeal to many. I also find it laughable when people say it doesn't make a difference when I went from platinum to masters after switching to a 240hz.

Meh, CounterStrike was the start of the downfall of design in the FPS genre.
