Which is the better combo?

I am confused between processor and motherboard combination, please suggest me the right one

1. i5 9400F with gigabyte B360M motherboard ?

                         OR

2. ryzen 5 2600 with Msi B450M PRO-M2 MAX ?

Does the 3600+Pro-M2 fit in your budget ?

If it's within budget I would get the ryzen 5 3600 with a MAX motherboard. for the Ryzen 2xxx series you don't need a MAX series motherboard since every b450 will support the ryzen 5 2xxx series.

If you need to chose between the two you listed it would be best if you also tell us what you'll be using the system for.

In India the intel combination is less than the ryzen and I will be using it for gaming

Oh, okay and also I will be using corsair 8gb ram, RX 570 GPU, so for all these components do I need 450W or 550W psu?

450W will be enough, 550W for safety

You will need a CPU cooler, they usually comes with thermal paste, sometimes it's also pre applied.
