Open a command prompt  (Hit the Start button / Windows button, type cmd in the Search/Run and press enter)

 

Type CHKDSK DRIVE_LETTER:  /F

 

replace DRIVE_LETTER with the letter of your drive that holds music,  C, D, etc etc

 

This command will scan the partition and fix any errors that may be.

Then, you can copy.

 

Make sure some files aren't opened in programs, that may prevent Windows Explorer from copying some files.
