Can't Transfer 62,790 files

I want to move all MP3 and CDG Files to a single folder but my system won't anymore it used to!

There might be some corrupted files that's preventing you from copying. Try copying in batches.

Open a command prompt  (Hit the Start button / Windows button, type cmd in the Search/Run and press enter)

 

Type CHKDSK DRIVE_LETTER:  /F

 

replace DRIVE_LETTER with the letter of your drive that holds music,  C, D, etc etc

 

This command will scan the partition and fix any errors that may be.

Then, you can copy.

 

Make sure some files aren't opened in programs, that may prevent Windows Explorer from copying some files.
