Certain apps seem to tank "framerate" at the desktop.

Odd question for you guys/gals. It's baffling me as to why this is happening. I have my system hooked up to a 144Hz monitor. I have the desktop resolution/refresh set to 144Hz in the NVIDIA Control Panel, but for some odd reason whenever I have Ryzen Master or the Bethesda.net Launcher open, my mouse cursor acts as though the framerate dropped until I minimize the windows. I tried to set those programs to the Maximum Performance mode in the NCP, but with no effect. Not world ending, just kind of annoying. Any insight is appreciated!

I actually have a similar issue to that as well. my mouse lags if i don't grab a browser window and pull it down and snap it back to full again.

I ruled that its a small issue not worth fixing due to everything else on the machine working great and me not wanting to screw it up

its normal actually. My CS:GO lag when i open windows task manager

I don't experience any of this with my overclocked 1660,

Both on Windows 7 and 10,

Do you all have Intel CPUs?

I am not blaming Intel CPUs,It's just a possibility,

Do you experience it with Ryzen CPUs?

I've noticed this on both of my systems, but more frequently my 3900X machine.

Did you try the Performance power plan?

What driver do you use?

I use 431.60 because newer drivers decrease performance in every game i have,

while improving performance of games i don't have (such as Battlefield V,it's in the release notes of newer drivers).
