My new psu is dead.

I bought a antec vp500 plus power supply. It is now dead after 2 month. I got it as a replacement of the same psu. Which was dead after 3 days of use.

What is the problem?

Hmm, same power supply dies twice, so thanks to your complete lack of variables or information we can only assume one of these factors:

 

• You enjoy using the psu as a convenient coaster for ice-cold drinks
• It's plugged into the wall using forks and electrical tape
• It's a bad PSU
• Unfortunately, a 7980xe and 2080 ti SLI is just too much for this poor little PSU
• After the morning ritual of hucking it out a second story window, it just died for no particular reason
• The wiring in your house is awful, and you have constant thunderstorms with no surge protector
