I'm not able to use my USB ports

4 of my USB ports are being blocked by this weird metal piece... I honestly don't know how to use them.

...did someone forget to put in a standoff? Hopefully not.

 

Better check and make sure. It shouldn't be out of alignment that badly.

 

Also that is called an I/O shield.

You must've screw the motherboard without the standoff

Looks like your I/O shield wasn't properly installed... either ways remove the metal pieces so you have access to the ports.

I'm going to have to go with, you're missing some standoffs, unless your I/O shield is jank.

Remove the motherboard and the IO shield

Take the IO shield and bend the tiny metal clips a bit towards the insides, they're supposed to be somewhat elastic and press down on the connectors when you insert the motherboard.

Place the missing standoff under the holes where you screw motherboard to the case.

Insert the motherboard at an angle, so that the connectors on the back go under those tiny metal bits:

Those metal clips must be bent about as much as in this picture, including those above the keyboard connector and the network card connector:
