Will my i5 4690 be enough to run Fortnite at 144fps?

Hi,

I don't play many games so my set up isn't that great I only have a 4690 and a gtx 1070. Can anyone tell me if I can comfortably hit 144fps on Fortnite as I've seen a good deal for a 144hz monitor and don't know whether it's worth it? I normally only play at low with a far view distance

Thanks

Maybe at 1080p 144hz, if you tried to do 1440p 144hz your CPU would probably hold you back.

Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 3700X @4.4Ghz, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT, RAM: 32 GB (2x 8GB Trident Z Royal + 2x 8GB TForce Vulkan Z) @3000Mhz, Motherboard: ASRock B550m Steel Legend, Storage: 1x WD Black 1Tb NVMe (boot) + 1x Samsung 860 QVO 1Tb SSD (storage), Case: Thermaltake Core V21, Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Why would increasing the resolution affect CPU performance? The CPU isn't drawing the pixels

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
