Mac Pro “late 2013” CPU upgrade

Hi

 

quick question will a mac Pro “trashcan” support a intel xeon e7-8890 i can’t find enything about it. And Will it be faster then the 12 core 2.7ghz in it. Or are there a better solution?

Probably threadripper...

 

Given the cooling issues I really wouldn't bother and would just use it until it breaks.

I have a idea for a external watercooling maybe so cooling is not a problem :)
