Fix broken screen or get a new one?

EL02

My samsung galaxy s6 edge has a broken screen and repair costs $70. Would it be better fixing the screen or getting the umidigi a5 pro ($100)off of aliexpress?(i dont know who has the better screen, cameras etc.)

I just want a phone for basic use with decent cameras.

I'd keep the Samsung tbh myself, I don't trust those Chinese phone brands that you have to import.

Plus many times you need to pay extra import/tariff fees that can push the price up by quite a fair margin

why would you buy a shit chinese phone when you can just fix the s6 for cheaper?

The s6 you can do things to, buy accessories, install roms and have a better battery life ( I assume )

Yeah...but ive been using it for 2 years and im concerned about the battery life since it's starting to last less. Also tariff fees are not a problem(no extra money).

Im worried about the battery because it's not holding up too well.
