Re-purpose of Pre-Built

Hey all,

I want some input from the community on this topic, and am really looking for ideas. 

Here i some background:

I have a Gaming PC, a File Server/Gaming Server, a dedicated Emulation Machine, and a dedicated Streaming PC. 

 

The Project:

I have an older Dell Opti-Plex ( i think), that i got from a friend. Nothing special. however I am looking for a pet project. What can I do with this machine?

I have a small background in HTML/CSS (I wrote my own HTA dock before)

I have some money to throw around for upgrading.

I don't have the specs, since I have to clean it out and get it back to operation, but am looking towards the future. 

I want something slightly challenging and fun, maybe something I can do along with a paint job.

 

If its fun/cool/useful enough I might keep it, if not I will try to sell/give it away.
