Laptop for a friend of mine starting university. Budget £1000

So my friend is studying Mathematics at university and she is looking for a new laptop. She was going to buy an iPad, but I ensured her not to as she would find a laptop more beneficial.

 

These are her requirements:

- Play lightweight videogames (mainly osu! and League of Legends)

- Media consumption (k-dramas, anime, Netflix and movies)

 

A touchscreen would also be quite useful. Budget is £1000.

 

Any ideas guys?

Thinkpads should have really good student discounts, so def use those if they are available in your country.
