3.5 HDD on an RVZ02

Any owners of the RVZ02? how deep is the HDD area on that case?

Was planning on getting the case, I know it doesn't support any 3.5in HDD, but is it possible to DIY the 2.5in drive bays to fit one 3.5in HDD?

Not likely, 3.5" HDDs are much thicker than 2.5" ones and that case is made as small as it can be, I don't see it likely that they left extra space back there. 

Perhaps consider getting a USB 3.0 external enclosure for your drive, or even moving over to a NAS/Plex for your HDDs. USB 3.0 speeds are faster than HDD read/write speeds, just response times are increased slightly, so unless you're gaming on it (I hope you're not) you won't see a difference in performance. 

 

That case is the perfect contender for LAN Parties with its small size, but putting a HDD in there would make it very fragile to transport.
