My Friend's 2.5 Seagate External HDD Only Contains a Weight and USB Stick

My friend recently purchased a 2.5 Seagate external HDD, they said it was not working.

I was shocked to discover that it only contained a weight and a USB stick inside.

They feel like they have been duped.

That's a very typical Chinese fake. Your friend most likely saw a too-good-to-be-true deal and all common sense flew out the window.

Well, it turns out that they purchased it from eBay, so it's not entirely surprising that this happened.
